Lead Embedded Software Engineer

You willbe joining a team of talented engineers and will collaborate extensively withthe wider Innovation team spread across Europe. As a Lead Embedded SoftwareEngineer you will be responsible for creating detailed specifications formetering and control systems. You will also work closely with other BusinessUnits to ensure that the systems being developed deliver maximum value to thecompany and the power grid.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Take the lead in developing and maintaining meteringand control systems software.
• Enhance and refine the software development processto ensure compliance with safety guidelines (IEC 61508).
• Collaborate with the team to translate roadmapfeatures into a manageable product backlog.
• Adhere to strategic product management guidelines.
Requirements:
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experiencein the development and testing of electronic systems.
• Extensive expertise in embedded development usingC/C++.
• Familiarity with SoC and ARM architecture.
• Solid understanding of Linux and RTOS.
• Good knowledge of the Electronic Product DevelopmentLifecycle.
• Dependable with a structured approach to work.
• Hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering orScience.
