Solar Power Electronics Engineer
location: Spain & GermanyOur client is rapidly growingoriginal equipment manufacturer (OEM) in the off-grid solar energy andphotovoltaic industry, known for delivering high-quality and reliable powerelectronics solutions.
As a Power ElectronicsEngineer, you will collaborate closely with engineering staff to contribute tothe design, development, and testing of our solar DC-DC converter and DC-ACinverter product lines. You will be involved in cutting-edge power electronicsprojects. Key responsibilities include software development and coding forembedded controls, hardware and software testing and debugging, and resolvingEMI issues.
Position Skills Required:
• M.S. or PhDin Electrical Engineering (EE)
• Courseworkfocus in Power Electronics, Motor Control, Motor Drives, or similar areas
• Proficiencyin C and C++ coding
• Experiencein embedded controls architecture and coding
• Familiaritywith platforms such as ARM, DSP, PIC
• Previousexperience in developing controls software for high-power devices (e.g.,inverters, power supplies, motor drives)
Desired Skills &Experience:
• Knowledge ofTCP/IP, USB, EIA-485, and 802.11x standards
• Experiencewith agency certification processes (EMC, UL, FCC)
• PCB layoutexperience in power electronics
